So what happens when you don’t have black people with a seat at the table at the table to tell you “Hell to the nah!”
H&M UK is under heavy fire via social media for a photo advertising a monkey hoodie with a young black model. Now to H&M’s defense, it’s not uncommon for a child to wear clothes with animals on them, but it looks bad… like really bad.

Considering the racial climate H&M UK should’ve stayed away from this.

H&M has now taken the image down.
“This image has now been removed from all H&M channels and we apologize to anyone this may have offended,” said H&M spokeswoman Anna Eriksson.
Is it a bad ad or are we overly sensitive?
